That's What You Get

It was almost night when Harold came home from his date. He opened the front door and as he closed it, he raised his arms infront of him and rested it on the door along with his head. He's deep in his thoughts. Maganda si Grace, mabait at mahinhin but somehow even though maayos ang naging first date nila something feels off... Like it shouldn't be something that he should be doing. Then sumasagi sa isip nya si Rocel.

His thinking if by any chance may feelings ito sa kanya, is she okay with seeing him go on a date with another woman? What if maging sila ni Grace? Is there gonna be changes in the way na makikitungo sya kay Rocel? What if they get to meet? So many questions raising in his head. Then suddenly nagsalita si Rocel. He didn't notice that she was already there when he entered the house.

Rocel: Something's bothering you. Is it the date or the woman? Things went wrong?

He faced Rocel and then stared at her for a minute, then he answered

Harold: No... Actually it was great.

Rocel: Oh come on dummy! I've known you for so long. There's something bothering you. I can tell.

Again, he just stared at Rocel for a minute there, and then he sighed.

Harold: Actually, there is, but I don't feel like talking about it right now.

Rocel: Oh okay. Since may pinagdadaanan ka rin jan, why don't we just have a drink? Last time bumili kami ni Akhi ng dalawang bottles of tequila but we didn't get the chance to have a drink because of the "Aaron" situation.

Harold laughed a bit and then smiled at Rocel.

Harold: You know what? That's an excellent idea.

Rocel: Okay then! Go outside at bumili ka sa kanto ng barbecue while I prepare the lemon and the tequila.

Harold: Alright queen.

Then lumabas na nga si Harold para bumili ng pulutan at si Rocel naman ay nag hiwa ng lemons for the tequila and she brought it back to the living room. Nang mailapag nya na sa lamesita ang lahat nang iyon, she noticed Harold's phone that was by the table. Nagvibrate ito so she decided to take a peak.

There was a text message on the notification coming from Grace and it said "It's been fun and I feel like I could really relate to you. Looking forward to our second date." Then carefully she placed it back in the table. She whispered to herself:

Rocel: He wasn't lying when he said that nothing was wrong with the date but why is he acting like this?

Then she sat on the couch just thinking about it. Maya maya pa Harold came back with the barbecues at inilagay na nila iyon in an empty plate then nagsimula na silang uminom.

At first tahimik lang silang nag shoshot doon. Taking turns, naka apat na shots na si Rocel at lima naman kay Harold. They're now sitting side by side on the floor at nakasandal lang sa sofa in front of the small table.

After a long while:

Harold: It's funny kung panong habang umiinom ka ng tequila, wala pang tama, pero sa dulo na ang pagsisisi.

Biglang natawa si Rocel sa sinabi ni Harold.

Rocel: It's even funnier how you're observation sounded like a "hugot" hahaha!

He looked at Rocel while she was laughing. Sa isip nya, ang cute cute talaga ni Rocel tumawa. Bumibilis ang tibok ng puso ni Harold habang pinagmamasdan si Rocel. He didn't even notice na nakatitig na pala sya. Maybe because of the fact that he's falling even more in love with her and dahil narin sa tumatama na ang alak. Then nagising sya sa katotohanan

Rocel: Huy Harold! Nakatulala ka na jan na para bang nahihibang ka?

Harold quickly shook his head and then smiled at her

Harold: Tumatama na kase yung alak.

Rocel: I can see that.

Then she smiled at him.

Harold: I know you're gonna hit me for saying this now but, you know? You're really beautiful and everytime that I am with your company, kahit inaaway mo ko, I feel a whole lot better.

Nakatitig lang sya kay Rocel then Rocel looked down bashfully, sighed and then smiled. Isinandal nya ang ulo nya sa balikat ni Harold.

Harold: Wow! I wasn't expecting that. Usually sapak, hampas at kotong ang inaabot ko sa'yo for saying something like that.

Rocel: Well don't get used to it! Ngayon lang to. I can feel something's bothering you and deep down you're feeling sad so just like Akhi, I'm here for you.

Sinandal ni Harold ang ulo nya sa ulo ni Rocel habang naka sandal ito sa balikat nya.

Harold: And thank you so much my queen for taking care of a lowly peasant servant like me. Baka gusto mo na akong gawing king?

Rocel: Wag ka na umasa. haha Just feel privileged nalang na I am personally comforting you. That won't make you a king any sooner though hahaha.

Harold: I never thought you cared this much.

Rocel: Ha ha! Don't even get there. Para ko na kayong mga kapatid nila Akhi, Gab and Gideon so naturally, Amma take care of all of you.

Upon hearing that, Harold felt a little pain deep inside then he let out a very long sigh.

Rocel: What's wrong?

Harold: Don't worry about it. It's nothing. Tara at tumagay. I believe sa'yo na ang kasunod. Wag mo kong daanin sa lambing.

Rocel sat up straight sabay tingin kay Harold at hampas sa balikat nya.

Rocel: Kapal mo! Haha Mas mataas tolerance ko sa alak kesa sa'yo!

Harold: Oh ganun nga ba? Prove it!

Rocel: Ah ganun ha? Sige matira matibay!

They laughed and then the challenge was on. Balak talaga nilang maglaklak hanggang sa matira kung sino ang matibay sa kanila.

Katatapos lang mag workout ni Gab sa Gym. He went outside and then grabbed a few things in the convenient store before heading to pick me up from work. He jogged on his way. Habang nag jojog sya, ang mga girls sa paligid na nadadaanan nya ay parang mga hibang na super kilig sa kanya. He's wearing a grey tank top and green shorts. Usually before we ever met, pag may nagustuhan syang girl along the way, he stops and get's their number and then from there mag iinvite sya for hook ups. Yep! He was such a playboy back then. Anyway back to the present ayun nga papunta na sya para sunduin ako.

Nagpe-prepare na ako para makauwi. Then lumapit sakin si Aaron.

Aaron: It's gonna be sad na hindi tayo magkakasabay umuwi.

Akhi: Well you have to get used to it. At least for a while.

Aaron: I know. This is my fault.

Nakaharap lang sya sakin habang nagbibihis ako. To my surprise ninakawan nya ako ng halik sa pisngi.

Akhi: Aaron?!

Aaron: Haha! Sorry di ko napigilan.

Then he pulled his shirt up and stripped to get changed. Maganda rin ang pangangatawan ni Aaron kase nag gygym din sya and the more I look at him, In fairness talaga palang gwapong gwapo din sya. Hindi ko lang masyadong napapansin noon kase si Gab lang ang nasa isip ko parati at sya lang ang tinitignan ko. Before he could wear his shirt he spoke:

Aaron: Ano't nakatingin ka lang jan?

He flashed a devilish smile and winked at me.

Akhi: Oh! Wala. I didn't know nag gygym ka pala.

Aaron: Hahaha! Ilang beses na tayo nagbibihis dito sa locker room I think taon na, ngayon mo palang napansin?

Akhi: Yeah yeah. I know right.

Aaron: Well do you like what you see?

Then he flexed in front of me. Bigla kong naalala si Gab. Nagkaroon narin kami ng ganitong eksena noon while nagbibihis sya sa kwarto namin nung hindi pa kami.

Aaron: Oh, bakit naman natigilan ka?

Akhi: Naalala ko lang si Gab. Ganitong ganito ang eksena namin noon.

He frowned and then he continued changing clothes without talking. Maya maya pa we heard someone enter the resto. I went out and took a peak and saw that it was Gab.

Akhi: Oh shit! It's Gab!

Aaron: Ha? Ang aga nya ha?

Akhi: Nako Aaron I have to get out first and don't come out hangga't hindi pa kami nakakalayo. Alam mo naman ang sitwasyon ngayon.

Aaron: Ayoko nga. Sabay tayong lalabas dito.

Akhi: What?! Aaron! Now's not the right time to be joking!

Aaron: Okay sige... Kiss mo muna ako sa lips para pumayag ako.

Akhi: Ano?! Nasisiraan ka na ba ng bait?

Aaron: I'm serious. If hindi mo ko hinalikan, and give some tongue to tongue action sabay tayong lalabas dito or maybe I'm gonna make Gab come in here.

Akhi: F*ck you!

I glared at him. Nakatitig ako ng masama sa kanya for about 5 minutes na pero hindi sya natitinag. I really don't want to start any trouble with Gab anymore. Wala na talaga akong choice.

Aaron: Come on Akhi, just this one. Just for the sake of fun haha. After this we'll just act like nothing happened.

I considered it, wala narin kase talaga akong choice. Baka maisipan pa ni Gab na magtanong sa ibang katrabaho namin kung nasaan ako eh talagang malalagot kami.

Akhi: *Sigh angrily* Okay! Fine! Just this one time!

Then he abruptly pulled me into him, and he planted a kiss to my lips. Pinipilit nyang ibuka ang bibig ko using his tongue but I was fighting it nang bigla nya akong pisilin sa tagiliran as if to say na "give me a tongue to tongue or this would be for nothing" Kaya ayun pinagbigyan ko sya but then he pulled out something from his pocket. It was his phone and then he snapped a picture habang nag tongue to tongue kami. Tinulak ko sya bigla.

Akhi: The f*ck?!

Aaron: Hey don't be mad. You practically agreed to this. hahaha

Akhi: Sh*t! Are you gonna blackmail me?!

Aaron: No of course not. Remembrance lang naman. he he he

He smiled like a crazy Psycho. Then he spoke

Aaron: Oh anu pa hinihintay mo? Lumabas ka na. Baka makita pa tayo dito, or do you want another one?

I grabbed my bag quickly and then I said

Akhi: F*ck you Aaron!

Aaron: Hey it was fun okay? No big deal. Hahaha!

Then I went out.

Gab: Hey baby. *kiss*

Akhi: Why are you all sweaty?

Gab: Kagagaling ko lang sa gym and I jogged on my way here. So, ready to go home?

Akhi: Okay let's go.

Gab: Something wrong?

Akhi: No. I'm just kinda tired.

At ayun na nga umuwi na kami. Before kami makalabas ng resto sumulyap ako saglit sa pinto ng locker room. Nakasilip si Aaron laughing at me and waving his phone at nakaflash doon yung picture naming naghahalikan. Inaasar nya ako. I thought to myself "someday he's definitely going to use that against me".

Pagdating namin ni Gab sa bahay naabutan namin si Rocel and Harold doon. Harold is already very drunk at nakatumba na sa sahig while Rocel is still up shouting at him.

Rocel: Wooooo!!! I prevailed!!!! Wala ka Harold! Loser ka! Woooo!!!

Pumasok kami ni Gab pero hindi parin kami napapansin ni Rocel so we stood by the door and just watched her.

Rocel: Oh ano ka ngayon?! Tumba ka no? Wala ka pala eh. Tinalo ka ng babae? Hahaha Bakla! Bakla ka pala Harold eh.

Just then biglang bumangon si Harold

Harold: *Salitang lasing* Bakla pala ha?

He gave Rocel a quick kiss in the lips and then natumba na sya ulit sa sobrang kalasingan. Napahawak si Rocel sa lips nya and she turned red. Noon lang nya napansin na nakapasok na kami. Lumingon sya samin, kami naman ni Gab pailing iling na nakangiti sa kanya. Nanlaki ang mata nya dahil alam nyang nakita namin iyon. Lumakad na kami papunta sa kwarto at sinundan nya lang kami ng tingin habang nakahawak parin sa lips nya then ng madaanan namin sya we teased her.

Gab: Bakla pala ha? hahaha

Akhi: How was it? Good? Hahaha

Then we went on. Sa sobrang kahihiyan, she squeaked and then quickly burried her face on the sofa seat...
