As the spiked crystal blade chandelier was about to fall on top of Meghan, the hauwaor of day came out from her body and assumed the form of a woman with pale skin, golden long hair wearing a golden gown and a crown that symbolizes the sun. She prevented the blades by releasing her incinerating golden light turning the dangerous thing into dusts. Melissa was so disappointed. She thought for sure that she had her. Meghan immediately checked if Melissa was okay.
Meghan: Nasaktan ka ba?
Melissa: You shouldn't have done that.
Meghan: And you should not be doing this either!!! Be a willing sacrifice in something that's going to destroy and kill many innocent lives.
Melissa: You ignorant stupid b*tch. Hahaha you have no Idea what you got yourselves into.
Meghan: What exactly do you mean?
Melissa: Let me show you.
Niyakap ni Melissa si Meghan at sa isang iglap naglaho ang Hauwaor of day.
Meghan: Anung ginawa mo? I don't feel the presence of my Special Ability hauwaor?
Melissa: You know, I have the hauwaor of nullify. If I target you I can easily mask your special ability type hauwaor. They wouldn't be of any help to you.
Meghan: What are you?!
Melissa: I am one of the high ranking Luican special forces. So stupid of you to fall into our trap! hahaha *evil laugh*
There's actually 4 types of hauwaor. The basic hauwaor enables it's wielders to summon weapons. Most commonly used by ordinary guards. Then there's the special ability type hauwaor which are different for every wielder. They can improve it and make it stronger but not surpassing the Masters hauwaor, which only the ancient ones or the elder master wielders can harness. Then lastly, the royal type hauwaor which as the name suggests, only those of royalty can possess. They are of the same rank as the masters hauwaor but the royal type can easily be amplified especially with artifacts.
Akhiyugo: Meghan! Anung nangyayari jan?! Ayos lang ba kayo?
Nagliwanag ang kamay ni Melissa and using her basic hauwaor she summoned a dagger with a poisoned tip. She plans to stab Meghan with it pero napansin ito ni Eric. He immediately summoned a boomerang and aimed it to Melissa's hand that holds the dagger at nabitawan nya ito.
Agad agad kumawala si Meghan sa pagkakayakap ni Melissa then summoned a whip. The three edgers stood side by side facing Melissa.
Meghan: Careful guys! she can nullify special ability hauwaor.
Everybody just stood still and watched what was going on. From the balcony, General Leo and Valmont floated down to where Melissa is.
Valmont: So nice of you to join the festivities!
L. G. Leo: And now the real party begins!
Valmont used his special ability hauwaor, which is the hauwaor of thunder. He aimed a thunder blast towards the edgers but luckily they evaded. At nag panic na lahat ng mga tao and everyone was running for their lives.
L. G. Leo: You're a nimble one aren't you? Hahaha!
Then General Leo summoned thousands of flying little monsters and attacked the edgers. They flew with utmost speed in a circular motion trapping the three edgers inside.
Meghan: This is bad!
Akhiyugo: I thought you said she nullifies special ability hauwaor?!
Akhiyugo tried to transform into a huge golem but it failed.
Akhiyugo: Hindi ako makapag bagong anyo!
Eric: I see. She can have specific targets to nullify! We're at a disadvantage!
Unti unti silang sinusugatan ng mga mala paniking halimaw na lumilipad sa paligid nila.
Meghan: Ouch!
Nasugatan ang mukha ni Meghan.
Meghan: That's my face you freakin' ugly little monster!
She used her whip at pinaghahampas ang mga lumilipad na monsters. Then Eric and Akhiyugo followed her lead.
Valmont: Their fighting back.
L. G. Leo: Wag ka mag alala. Hindi ako mauubusan ng mga alagad.
Then more of the same monsters came flying in from the windows.
Eric: Walang katapusan ito!
Valmont: Let's spice it up a little bit. Give me an opening so I could aim a paralyzing shot at those three.
General Leo did as he asked then Valmont send shocks of electricity towards the three edgers.
Meghan: Ugh! I can't move!
Akhiyugo: Shit! We're done for! Eric, gamitin mo ang royal type hauwaor mo!
Eric: We can't do that! Master Lyndon clearly said no one else should know that I am the prince!
Akhiyugo: I know! But what's the use of it if we're gonna die anyway?
Eric is torn. Hindi nya alam kung anong gagawin. Kung susundin nya si Akhiyugo o ang ipinagbilin ni Master Lyndon.
Melissa: Say goodbye to your pathetic lives edgers.
Out of desperation, Eric was about to use the royal type hauwaor but suddenly something hit Melissa's head and she fell to the ground unconscious.
Valmont: Huh?! What happened to you?! Melissa?!
Valmont and general Leo looked up on another balcony and there was a woman wearing a mask. Then the main entrance door slammed open and another woman and a man came in also wearing a mask.
Solla: Masarap ba pagkakabato ko sa ulo mo? Hahaha sleep tight.
Solla was the woman in he balcony and she removed her mask. She raised her hand and summoned a bow.
Lily: You think you can touch my sister without going through me?!
Then Lily removed her mask and summoned a scythe, together with the hauwaor of the night who assumed the form of a man with pale skin, long black hair and wearing dark clothing and a crown with a cresent moon.
Regaldis: So how about we take this to the next level?
Regaldis took off his mask then summoned his special ability the hauwaor of thousand swords.
Lily: *chilling voice* My hauwaor, please get rid of the pests surrounding your sister.
Then the hauwaor of the night followed her instruction and aimed a dark matter to the flying creatures at naglaho ang mga ito. Solla jumped from the balcony and down towards Valmont shooting a series of light arrows at him but he evaded. Tumakbo naman si Regaldis papalapit kay general Leo and aimed the flying swords at him.
L. G. Leo: Not so fast!
He summoned a huge metal monster and deflected the flying swords. Agad agad na lumapit si Solla kina Eric.
Solla: Eric! Ayos lang ba kayo?
Eric: I can't move!
Solla raised her hand and used the hauwaor of healing and everyone is no longer paralyzed. Tumakbo si Lily papunta kay Meghan to check up on her.
Lily: Meghan! Are you okay?
Meghan: Yeah. Just a little scratch on my face though. Ugh!
Eric: Pano nyo nalamang kailangan namin ng tulong?
Solla: Well lucky for us the hauwaor of night and day can communicate to each other even when they are far away. Nagwarning na kay Lily ang hauwaor of day ni Meghan so using Master Lyndon's hauwaor, he opened a portal directly to this manor.
The huge metal monster slammed it's fist and hit Regaldis.
Regaldis: Urgg!!
L. G. Leo: Hahaha! You think your stronger than me?! Ha! Never!
Solla: Regaldis!
Then Valmont shot a thunder blast towards them but the hauwaor of night deflected it!
Lily: Not so fast!
Solla: Ginagalit ako ng long hair na yan!
Hinabol ni Solla si Valmont.
Valmont: A brave little pest!
Then he shot another thunder blast at Solla but she evaded quickly.
Solla: Don't mess with me!
Sa hindi inaasahan, she didn't know that Valmont left a paralyzing current on the ground she stepped in then suddenly hindi sya makagalaw.
Solla: Ugh!
She used her healing hauwaor but just right after she removed the paralyze effect, the giant metal monster's fist hit her and she slammed to the wall.
Solla: Ugh!
L. G. Leo: Hahaha *evil laugh* I wouldn't be a high ranking general for the Luican if I am that easily defeated. Now, I'm gonna crush the other pests!
The metalic giant monster turned to Eric and the group and slammed both it's fists on them but Akhiyugo transformed into a rock golem at hinarang nya ito.
Akhiyugo: Ugh! he's too strong!
Meghan: That general Leo is going to pay for what he did to my face!
Then Meghan summoned the hauwaor of day and it shot a light beam towards the metalic monster then it's gradually melting down.
Meghan: Ha! Burn baby burn!
It melted completely.
Eric: Ano General, it's time to surrender!
L. G. Leo: Huhahahaha! This isn't over!
Again the metalic monster assumed it's original form.
Meghan: What the hell?! It's indestructible!
Suddenly a light arrow hit the head of the metalic monster and left a very tiny crack. It was Solla. She managed to get up.
L. G. Leo: And what is this? Haha gusto mo pa ng karagdagang sakit ng katawan?
Lumapit kay Solla ang metalic giant monster and was about to finish her with one blow but then Solla closed her eyes and raised her hand. The tiny crack from the monster's head grew bigger and bigger.
L. G. Leo: Anung nangyayari?!
Lily: She's doing it again.
Meghan: Yeah. The reason why she's one of the most lethal edgers in Angaia.
The metalic monster suddenly changed into something organic and was rotting away. Slowly decreasing it's size and dying.
Akhiyugo: kaya nyang pagalingin o palalain ang sinumang mapinsala ng kanyang hauwaor.
Then the monster died and was reduced into dusts.
L. G. Leo: Impossible!
Valmont: General, we're clearly out numbered here. We have to go!
General Leo and Valmont hurriedly ran to the backdoor.
Lily: After them!
Hinabol nilang lahat ang dalawa except for Eric who checked on Melissa, still unconscious and lying on the ground.
Eric: Is she still breathing?
Just when he was about to check on her, Melissa got up then quickly stabbed Eric on his abdomen with a poisonous sickle.
Eric: Urg!
Melissa: Surprise! You didn't see that one coming didn't you?
Eric: You were awake this whole time?! Ugh!
Melissa: Yes I am.
Eric: Iniwanan ka na ng mga kasama mo. They abandoned you!
Melissa: On the contrary, I let them do that so I could do this.
Mabilis kumalat ang lason sa katawan ni Eric. Nanghihina na sya at malapit nang mawalan ng malay.
Melissa: The best part of this poison is it cannot be healed by hauwaor. Hahaha *evil laugh*
She held Eric's face in front of her.
Eric: Ugh... *struggling*
Melissa: If you managed to stay alive, send my regards to Vernisha.
Eric: S-sino ugh! Sino s-si Verni...
Melissa: Shhhh.... Sleep tight, handsome.
She kissed Eric on the lips then he fell to the ground unconscious.
Melissa: *evil laugh* Hahahaha!
Then she made her escape.
Meghan: Damn it! nakatakas sila!
Lily: It seems they also have a portal.
Solla: Where's Eric?
Regaldis: Andun kasama yung naiwang Luican.
They came back inside and found Eric lying on the ground unconscious.
Solla: Eric!!!
She ran to his side and held him. She checked and found out that he was poisoned. She tried to use her healing hauwaor but it didn't work.
Solla: Why wouldn't it work?! Eric! *crying*
Lily: Solla don't bother. This type of poison cannot be healed by hauwaor. Suddenly, Euriko came flying in riding a serpent like dragon and carrying a backpack.
Euriko: Pinadala ako ni Master Lyndon para sunduin kayo. What happened to Eric?
Regaldis: He got poisoned.
Akhiyugo: Solla don't move him too much. It would make the poison spread faster.
Kinuha ni Euriko ang teddy bear nya from her bag and transformed it into a big fluffy full grown bear at binuhat nito ang walang malay na si Eric at sumakay sa dragon.
Euriko: Everyone hop in. We can't stay here for long and master Lyndon can't hold the portal any longer.
Sumakay silang lahat sa dragon then a portal appeared from the ceiling and they went into it then it dissapeared.

A portal opened from the frontyard of the HQ in Arlisse where master Lyndon, Rasia, Geddoe, Philip and Harron was waiting. Lumabas mula doon ang mga edgers na nakasakay sa dragon and landed in front of them.
Solla: Quick! We need to get Eric inside!
Philip: Anung nangyari kay Eric?!
Solla: Tumabi ka dyan!
Master Lyndon: Bring him to the cleansing room!
Everyone rushed Eric inside and onto the cleansing room.

Aunt May: Kailangan nyong maghintay dito sa labas. Si master Lyndon lamang at kaming mga tagapagsilbi ang maaring pumasok.
Ang sabi ni Aunt May sa mga edgers.
Solla: Oh no! Huhuhu Eric please be okay!
Philip: *crying* Meghan anung nangyari kay Eric?
Meghan: He's poisoned.
Then Philip turned to Solla.
Philip: Diba kaya mong magpagaling? Anu pang ginagawa mo jan paiyak iyak ka pa wala ka namang ginagawa?!
With tears in his eyes and so much worrying he yelled at Solla. Nagalit si Solla then she ran furiously towards Philip and knock him down to the floor.
Solla: How dare you?!
She punched Philip on the face.
Akhiyugo: Tama na!
Inawat nila si Solla.
Solla: You think I didn't try it already?! You ignorant fool!
Philip: Kung ganon bakit wala paring malay si Eric?!
Meghan: Stop it! Both of you!
Lumapit si Regaldis kay Philip.
Regaldis: Unfortunately, this kind poison cannot be healed by hauwaor.
Philip: What?! So anu nang mangyayari kay Eric?!
Lily: We're gonna have to wait. Tanging si master Lyndon lamang ang makapagsasabi kung anung magiging lagay ni Eric.
Philip: Huhuhu... Eric... Please be okay...

After a few hours, lumabas na si Master Lyndon.
Rasia: Master Lyndon, ano na ang lagay ni Eric?
Master Lyndon: It's not looking good, and I'm not sure how long he's gonna be able to survive.
Solla: No! Master Lyndon wala na ba tayong magagawa?
Philip was just listening at a side and crying continuously.
Master Lyndon: We need to get a specialist. Tatawag ako sa HQ in Sanaria para papuntahin si Master Vernisha. For the mean time, let's hope Eric get's through this.

Few more hours have passed and it is already 3am. Lumabas si Philip sa HQ at nagpahangin. Deep inside he was hoping and praying that Eric get's through this ordeal. Nilapitan sya ni Geddoe who happened to be around the area.
Geddoe: So you really care about Eric don't you?
He stood beside him. He didn't answer.
Geddoe: What is Eric to you Philip?
Philip:....*crying*
Lumapit si Geddoe sa kanya at sya ay niyakap.
Geddoe: It hurts...
Philip: What?
Geddoe: It hurts me to see you like this.
Philip: *sob* bakit naman?
Geddoe: Ayaw kong nakikita kang malungkot. Nasasaktan din ako dahil pakiramdam ko ay mahal mo na si Eric.
Philip: I don't... Nag aalala lang ako dahil kaibigan ko sya at ilang beses na nya iniligtas ang buhay ko.
Geddoe: *sigh* Philip, can you promise me something?
Philip: Anu yon? *sob*
Geddoe: When you finally come of age, when you're officially an adult, please consider my feelings for you.
Philip: What?
Geddoe: I don't know, but eversince the first time I saw you, I felt something... Something that I've never felt before.
Philip: What are you saying?
Geddoe: I think I've fallen for you.
Bumitaw si Philip sa pagkakayakap kay Geddoe then he stared into his eyes.
Geddoe: I'm serious Philip. I really am.
Sa di kalayuan, andun si Solla at nakita nya ang mga kaganapan.
Solla: Despite what happened to Eric nagagawa pa nyang makipag landian kay Geddoe?! He doesn't deserve Eric!
Then she went back inside.
Umatras si Philip making much more distance between him and Geddoe.
Philip: I-I I need to go somewhere.+
Geddoe: Wait, where are you going?
Philip: Basta! Don't follow me!
Geddoe: Philip, I'm sorry...
But before he could finish, tumakbo si Philip papalabas ng gate ng HQ leaving Geddoe behind...
